Describes the Bureau of Reclamation’s use of protective coatings to control corrosion on metalwork in variable fresh waters of the 17 western states. Standard specification materials are used successfully. Evaluation of new products and special tests are discussed to show the Bureau’s use of tests for selections of new materials.
