Behavior of AZ 63 Alloy and Magnesium—1 Percent Manganese Alloy Anodes in Sodium Chloride Electrolyte

J. H. GREENBLATT is with Chemistry and Corrosion Section, Naval Research Establishment, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia,. He is occupied with corrosion and electrochemical studies. From 1943 to 1946 Dr. Greenblatt was at the Internal Ballistics Research Laboratory, Valcartier, Quebec. He has an MSc in physical chemistry from Dalhousie University and a PhD in physical chemistry from McGill University, 1948.

E. ZINCK worked as a summer employee at the Naval Research Establishment, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, where he was concerned with problems of anode efficiency. Mr. Zinck holds an honors BSc from Acadia University and is currently doing post graduate research at Harvard.
