Approximately how many compounds have been tested by this method? Does this number cover the various structures and formulations now generally known and used as inhibitors? These questions are not intended to discourage the acceptance of this test. The committee certainly is to be congratulated on its work. More work of a similar nature is needed on other corrosive environments.

About 12 inhibitors covering the range of commonly used amine (polar type) inhibitors have been reported on. Tests have been run on about 50 by various persons but not fully reported to T-1K.
