THERE has long been a need for keeping NACE membership better informed on Technical Committee activities. In the past, stories have appeared among items of general interest in the news section of Corrosion magazine. Most were concerned with election of officers and other similar matters.
Beginning with the May issue of Corrosion a Technical Committee News section was inaugurated. This section contains accounts of the activities of the various committees. Formation of new committees and their purpose will be announced. Progress of the work of older groups will be followed. Problems that have been discussed will be presented. An especial effort will be made to present briefly points of interest that arise in committee work. Developments in committee reports will be followed and presented.
The present issue contains several stories about the activities of some of the committees and is indicative of the kind of material to be carried. An...
