Details of protection from exterior corrosion of a large diameter products pipe line through heavily industrialized areas are given. Because of stray currents, limited space available for the installation and because the line had to be deeply buried it was considered advisable to coat and wrap the line very carefully and encase it in a concrete coating poured around the pipe in the ditch.
Coating and wrapping specifications and details concerning underwater crossing are given.
