Western Construction Group has promoted Mary Faris of St. Louis,
Missouri to the position of Sr. Director, Human Resource & Talent
Development. Faris began her career with Western as Manager, Training and
Development in 2006. She was promoted in 2013 to Director, Training and
Talent Development and most recently to Sr. Director, Talent Development and
Human Resources.In her new position, Faris will oversee the human resource processes and programs and the employee development program. She will also design and deliver skill and leadership training for management, oversee the change management progress, develop new employee recognition programs, provide development and support for the career path and succession planning processes, and provide direction for the culture of the organization.
Prior to Western Construction, Faris worked as the Founder and President of Consulting Business for Geared Towards Goals, Inc. and held various positions at Sprint Corporation including Sr. Manager of Strategic Planning, Director of Business Support Services and Lead Quality Facilitator for the Technology Services Group.
Faris has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, mass communications and public relations from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. She is certified as a Quality Facilitator and Malcolm Baldridge Examiner and is a certified Quality Facilitator and Life Coach. She is a member of the International Women's Leadership Association, American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and AAIM Employers' Association.
