DSM partners with Empire Supply Free

DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, and Empire Supply of Houston, Texas announce the completion of a distribution and supply agreement for DSM’s UVolve® UV field applied floor coatings for North America. As of 1 October 2013, DSM transferred all direct sales activities of UVolve® Instant Floor Coatings in North America to Empire Supply. Empire Supply will market and sell the full line of UVolve® products:

• UVolve® 1873 Floor Guard, a single-coat system for vinyl and vinyl composition (VCT)
flooring;
• UVolve® Clarity, a clear coat system for concrete and terrazzo with a high gloss or satin
finish;
• UVolve® 2613 Vivid, a waterborne-epoxy, color system.

Empire Supply works extensively with government facilities and many major corporations in the Southwest region of the United States. By expanding their product portfolio with UVolve® Instant Floor Coatings, Empire Supply will bring the region innovative solutions formulated for rapid return to service and enhanced sustainability.

With UVolve® products, drying time is eliminated with a pass of a UV light unit—making your floor immediately ready for use. All UVolve® Instant Floor Coatings are solvent-free and non-flammable, with near-zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs), no hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), and low odor during installation.
