Sauereisen, a world leader in the production of protective linings, coatings and ceramic compounds for industrial users, announced that Maureen E. Bankert has been promoted to Vice President – Finance. Ms. Bankert will direct all accounting functions at Sauereisen in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and manage the company’s finance department.“Maureen has exhibited outstanding leadership, competency, work ethic and belief in our company throughout her career,” said Eric Sauereisen, President. “She has always gone the extra mile. We look forward to incorporating her recommendations and decisions into our company’s financial strategies, policies and fiscal management.”
Maureen joined Sauereisen in December 2000 as the Accounting Manager and was promoted to Controller in February 2013. “We all look forward to a bright future with the expertise, attention to detail and compassion for all employees and customers which Maureen brings to work every day,” said John Davis, Inside Sales & Marketing Specialist, Sauereisen.
Maureen graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University. She currently resides in Pittsburgh’s Plum Borough with her family and can be seen running the hills of her neighborhood.
