“My goal is to give back to my community by speaking and educating kids on what it takes to pursue a successful career in construction, which is something I wish I had growing up. I've never seen any black construction managers in person or on tv, this is something that I will change. I envision myself playing a vital role in implementing sustainable roofing solutions. I will strive to promote the use of environmentally friendly materials and practices that minimize the carbon footprint of construction projects. Whether it's the development of more durable and weather-resistant roofing materials or the implementation of smart technology for monitoring and maintenance, I will be at the forefront of these advancements and ensure they are incorporated into the projects I manage. I will also encourage the next generation to consider careers in construction and expose them to the potential. I am excited to take on the challenge of revolutionizing traditional practices and leaving a lasting impact on the construction and roofing industries.”
