Inspection equipment manufacturer Elcometer has opened a new North American headquarters location in Warren, Michigan.
The United Kingdom-based company describes itself as a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and supply of inspection equipment for the coatings, concrete, and ultrasonic nondestructive testing (NDT) sectors, as well as a manufacturer and supplier of a full range of abrasive blasting and ancillary equipment.
Servicing, Training Support
The 22,000-square-foot (2,050 m2) North American headquarters building provides office space for the company’s sales and technical support teams, as well as an ISO 17025 testing laboratory to provide fully accredited servicing and training support to the coatings, blasting, concrete, and ultrasonic NDT markets in the United States and Canada.
“North America is a very important market, and the move to larger premises means we can accommodate demand for our U.S. and Canadian customers well into the future,” said Michael Sellars, managing director for Elcometer.
“Our new North American headquarters allows our dedicated team of in-house sales and service engineers, technical support, and training personnel to provide our customers with the highest levels of customer support,” Sellars added.
New Product Ranges
The headquarters building is located at 6900 Miller Drive in Warren, Michigan.
“Our new facility also allows us to expand into new product ranges, including our new range of dry abrasive blast machines, precision media valves, blast hose, blast nozzles, and personal protective equipment which, following the introduction in Europe and the Middle East in November, will be launched in North America in the spring,” said Joe Walker, vice president for Elcometer.
