The annual awards program from CoatingsPro Magazine has officially launched to highlight success stories for commercial and industrial coatings contractors.
In its third year, the Contractor Awards Program showcases the projects and crews that have demonstrated excellence in the field of high-performance coatings projects in 2018.
Designed to acknowledge the outstanding work of coatings contractors, the awards program includes six categories of coatings projects:
- Commercial Concrete
- Commercial Roof
- Industrial Concrete
- Industrial Steel
- Specialty Project
- Contractor/Crew MVP
Each award submission will be rated by the CoatingsPro Editorial Advisory Group, which is composed of five industry experts. The judges will evaluate the projects in accordance with specific guidelines that consider criteria such as challenges and problem solving, compliance with U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, monetary savings, innovation, efficiency, and/or the unique nature of the project.
Contractors should submit nominations, including photos and details of the project, via email to [email protected] by December 1, 2018. There is no fee to submit a nomination.
Winners will be announced at NACE International’s CORROSION 2019 Conference and Expo in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as in CoatingsPro’s May 2019 issue, available in print and online.
