EnviroShield, which recently joined the Rust-Oleum family of products, recently added three new coatings to its disaster restoration program.
These include the Oil Base 7000 Stain & Odor Sealer, the Shellac 9000 Stain & Odor Blocker, and the Masonry 3000 Waterproof Latex Coating.
Oil Base 7000
The EnviroSHIELD Oil Base 7000 is formulated for whole surface interior priming. The blended high-solids formula combines strong adhesion, reliable stain blocking, and effective odor sealing performance. One coat blocks stains from water, soot, smoke, nicotine, rust, and mildew.
The coating also seals odors from fire damage, smoke, mildew, pet urine, and fireplace and furnace puff backs, according to the company.
Shellac 9000
Meanwhile, the EnviroSHIELD Shellac 9000 is the ultimate odor and stain blocker and the choice of professionals for fire and water damage restoration. It permanently blocks severe stains and creates an odor barrier making it ideal for fire and water damage, trauma scenes, graffiti, and fire and furnace smoke damage.
This coating can be applied at temperatures ranging from 0 °F to 90 °F (-17.8 °C to 32.2 °C ), Rust-Oleum explained.
Masonry 3000
Finally, the EnviroSHIELD Masonry 3000 Waterproof Coating forms an impermeable barrier to water on interior or exterior, vertical or horizontal concrete block, and cast-in-place concrete.
The coating blocks up to 20 psi (0.14 MPa) of water pressure.
“We now have a branded platform that can supply and service the restoration professional with proven products and brands,” said Jerry Morgan, brand manager. “We are excited to be officially launching this program into an emerging market that relies on products created for the most extreme conditions.”
EnviroShield is available through disaster restoration distribution channels.
