Hilti’s expanded cordless portfolio of solutions and services just got a major upgrade with the introduction of the new Hilti 22 V CPC Li-ion Batteries — the first and only backwards compatible battery technology in the industry. Hilti is also introducing several new 22 V tools that harness the performance, reliability, productivity and efficiency of these new batteries, including the Cordless Hammer Drill/Driver SF 6H-A22 ATC, Cordless Impact Driver SID 4-A22, Cordless Drill/Driver SF 10W-A22 ATC and Radio Charger RC 4/36. Using Hilti’s 22 V batteries, these new tools and existing 18 V tools will deliver more work per charge — up to 20 percent more, depending on application, insert, user and temperature than Hilti 18 V batteries, and up to 50 percent more than competitive 18 V/5.0 amp hour solutions.
Cordless Hammer Drill/Driver SF 6H-A22 ATC
The new Hilti Cordless hammer drill/driver SF 6H-A22 ATC offers best-in-class performance-to-size ratio and is the first cordless drill to incorporate Active Torque Control (ATC) for greater operator control. The ATC on the Hilti SF 6H-A22 ATC senses and reduces potential kick back by shutting off the tool if the housing begins to rotate too quickly, helping to keep the operator safer and on the job. The SF 6H-A22 ATC also takes advantage of Hilti’s new 22 V CPC Li-ion Battery technology to deliver more work per charge, improved reliability and better workforce productivity. It can also operate using Hilti 18 V batteries.
Hilti’s Cordless hammer SF 6H-A22 ATC is built using all-metal gearing for excellent high torque performance in a variety of applications and materials including wood, metal, masonry and aerated concrete. It’s two gear settings delivers a 480 no load speed in Gear 1, and 1,600 rpm no load speed in Gear 2. It also has a hammering frequency of 28,800 bpm.
Cordless Impact Driver SID 4-A22
The Hilti Cordless impact driver SID 4-A22 has been redesigned for better performance in tight spaces. Hilti has streamlined the SID 4-A22 with a new handle and trigger shape that gives more control and improved precision in screw fastening applications. It features four ultra-bright LEDs positioned around the front of the tool for improved illumination of base material and a stab-style 1/4-in hex shank chuck for fast insert changes. The cordless impact driver can be powered by two of Hilti’s new 22 V batteries — the B22/2.6 CPC Li-Ion for lightweight performance or the B22/5.2 CPC Li-Ion for more work per charge.
Cordless Drill/Driver SF 10W-A22 ATC
The Hilti Cordless drill/driver SF 10W-A22 ATC delivers corded performance in a cordless tool and features ATC, which helps protect users without sacrificing performance. This cordless drill can drill up to 6-in holes in multiple layers of wood and features four gears for drilling in metal and other base materials. The ultra-high torque low gear offers 1,062 in-lb of torque and allows the drill to perform as well as corded drill in demanding applications. Operators will accomplish more work per charge with Hilti’s new 22 V batteries. The SF10W-A22 ATC will also operate on Hilti 18 V CPC Li-Ion batteries for seamless jobsite integration with other Hilti tools.
Radio Charger RC 4/36
The new Hilti Radio Charger RC 4/36 is a rugged combination of a radio and battery charger built for tough jobsite conditions. It delivers great audio quality on the job while simultaneously charging any Hilti 18 V, 22 V or 36 V Li-Ion battery. It can also charge Hilti 12 V batteries with the Battery charging adapter CA-B12. It features Bluetooth connectivity for streaming audio from mobile devices and includes Hilti’s, industry leading 2-year full coverage warranty. *
