The Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA) is a non-profit trade association of roofing, sheet metal, and air conditioning contractors and industry-related companies that includes manufacturers, suppliers, and roofing consultants. Founded in 1922, the association’s purpose has been to foster and encourage a high standard of business ethics among members and to encourage quality through research, education, and recognition of competence.
FRSA’s trade show, the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Expo, is the largest regional show of its kind in the country. Held in conjunction with FRSA’s Annual Convention, the expo will take place at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Fla., from Wednesday, June 4 to Friday, June 6, 2025. FRSA offers seminars during the following days and times: June 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.; June 5 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; and June 6 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. On June 4, FRSA is partnering with the Certified Contractors Network (CCN) to offer a full-day seminar, CCN Sales Bootcamp, at a very special rate.
Expo hours run as follows: June 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and June 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The expo is free to attend for contractors in the roofing and sheet metal industry.
The Spotlight Trophy for the Advancement of Roofing (S.T.A.R.) is an awards program designed by FRSA to recognize members’ unique and outstanding projects. A panel evaluates the entries for inclusion and outstanding performance in each category. These categories are: Low Slope, Steep Slope, Craftsmanship in Roofing, and Community Service. Awards will be available for pick-up at the expo beginning on June 5.
