The Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP) is chartered to advance the professions of engineering, architecture, and applied sciences through technical activities, public service participation, and social organizations. It also supports the needs of industries, communities, and government in Western Pennsylvania by advancing the engineering profession and positioning the region as a center for engineering excellence and innovation.

ESWP presents the International Bridge Conference (IBC), the preeminent arena for the bridge industry in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and Africa. The IBC will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., from Monday, July 14 to Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Technical sessions have always been at the heart of the IBC, where attendees can watch, listen, and learn about the various topics scheduled for presentation. Conference attendees may choose from presentations in any of the concurrent technical sessions because new presentations are scheduled every 30 minutes.

    • ▪

      Bridge Inspection and Evaluation: 8–10:00 a.m.

    • ▪

      Pedestrian: 8–10:00 a.m.

    • ▪

      Historic: 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

    • ▪

      Bridge Replacement: 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

    • ▪

      Cable Stay Bridges: 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

    • ▪

      Analysis/Research/Design I: 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

      Structural Health Monitoring: 8:00–10:00 a.m.
